The Center they established was on an abandoned 35 acres property, including a few barns and a "handyman special" wooden frame house. This group of five consisted of Jacques, Jean-Marc, Michael, Joan, and Maurice Warnon.
Soon, a number of persons from the area showed interest in the purpose of King's Garden, and during the following years several people lived in King's Garden and contributed in various degrees and areas: Betty, Angela, Jamie, Rodica, Roland, Betty, Buck, Eric, Jeanne, Benedicta, and many others have our gratitude for their friendly presence during the 30 years of existence. They, as many other more temporary residents, have given their time and energy to develop this Center.
Today, many of the human residents have left the area, or have lost interest in the activities. Age and illness are other factors, and also some departure to the other side of the Veil. As there was a time to saw some 30 years ago, now is the time to harvest, to reflect and to be peaceful.
It would be unfair to ignore the thousands of permanent Residents from the animal, vegetal, and mineral Kingdoms, which have gracefully shared the beauty of their domain with us. Their presence and the one of many invisible helpers have contribued to the exceptional atmosphere of our Center. They will stay on the land and continue their work...
